Cormaa Refund Policy

Effective date: August 9, 2026

We want Cormaa’s billing and refund process to be straightforward and fair.

Because Cormaa incurs computing, AI-processing, browser-automation, voice-generation and video-rendering costs when the Services are used, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun or usage has been consumed.

That said, mistakes happen. If something goes wrong with your payment or with Cormaa, contact us and we will review the situation fairly.

This Refund Policy forms part of the Cormaa Terms of Service.

1. Subscription cancellations

You may cancel a paid Cormaa subscription at any time.

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will not renew for another billing period.
  • You will retain access to the paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless otherwise stated when you cancel.
  • Cancellation does not automatically result in a refund.
  • We do not automatically prorate subscription fees for unused days remaining in a billing period.
  • Unused minutes, credits or other usage allowances do not have a cash value and are not automatically refundable.

Canceling your subscription and deleting your Cormaa account are separate actions.

2. Accidental renewals

If your subscription renewed but you intended to cancel it, contact us as soon as possible.

We may provide a full refund of the most recent renewal when:

  • The refund request is made shortly after the renewal;
  • There has been little or no meaningful usage of the paid Services since the renewal; and
  • We determine that the circumstances reasonably indicate an unintended renewal.

If substantial usage has occurred after renewal, we may deny the refund or offer a partial refund or account credit instead.

Accidental-renewal refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed except where required by law.

3. First-time purchases

Purchasing a Cormaa subscription gives you access to computing resources and Services that may begin being consumed immediately.

We therefore do not provide an automatic money-back period for first-time purchases.

However, if you purchase Cormaa and experience a material problem that prevents you from reasonably using the Services, contact us. Depending on the circumstances, we may:

  • Restore affected usage credits;
  • Add account credit;
  • Extend your subscription;
  • Provide a partial refund; or
  • Provide a full refund.

We will generally try to resolve the underlying problem before issuing a cash refund.

Nothing in this section limits refund, cancellation or withdrawal rights that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.

4. Failed tutorial generations

Cormaa uses AI systems, browser automation and third-party infrastructure. A tutorial generation may occasionally fail because of a technical error.

A failed generation does not automatically entitle you to a cash refund.

If we verify that a generation failed because of an error on Cormaa’s side, our normal remedy will be to restore the minutes, credits or usage consumed by that generation so you can try again without paying twice.

Depending on the circumstances, we may instead provide:

  • Replacement usage credits;
  • Additional generation time;
  • Account credit;
  • A partial refund; or
  • A full refund where appropriate.

Examples may include situations where:

  • Cormaa charged usage but failed to produce usable output because of an internal system failure.
  • A platform outage prevented you from using a significant portion of your paid subscription.
  • A verified billing or usage-metering error incorrectly deducted credits or minutes.
  • A repeated Cormaa-side technical problem materially prevented you from using the paid Services.

5. AI-generated results and dissatisfaction with output

Cormaa uses automated and AI systems to navigate applications and generate tutorials.

AI-generated results may occasionally contain errors, misunderstand instructions or require revisions. A generation that requires editing or does not exactly match your expectations does not automatically qualify for a refund.

If a generation is technically completed but you are dissatisfied with its quality, contact us. We may investigate the generation and, where appropriate, restore usage credits or provide another reasonable remedy.

Refunds will generally not be provided solely because:

  • You changed your mind about a tutorial after it was generated.
  • You provided incorrect or incomplete instructions.
  • The connected application contained unexpected information.
  • The connected application changed its interface.
  • Credentials supplied by you did not work.
  • The connected application blocked, restricted or interrupted automation.
  • You did not have the necessary permissions to perform the requested workflow.
  • You decided not to use, publish or export the generated content.

6. Unused minutes and credits

Cormaa plans may include tutorial-generation minutes, credits, exports or other usage allowances.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Unused usage allowances are not refundable for cash.
  • Unused allowances do not have a cash value.
  • Canceling a subscription does not create a right to payment for unused allowances.
  • Downgrading a plan does not create a right to a refund for allowances included in the previous plan.
  • Allowances may expire according to the terms of the applicable subscription plan.

If Cormaa incorrectly deducts usage because of a verified system error, we may restore that usage.

7. Plan upgrades and downgrades

If you upgrade your subscription, any additional charges and the timing of those charges will be displayed during the upgrade process.

If you downgrade:

  • The downgrade will normally take effect from the next billing period unless Cormaa indicates otherwise.
  • We do not automatically refund the difference between plans for the current billing period.
  • Features and usage allowances associated with the higher plan may remain available until the current billing period ends.

Different treatment may apply where specifically stated during the upgrade or downgrade process.

8. Duplicate or incorrect charges

If Cormaa accidentally charges you:

  • More than once for the same transaction;
  • An incorrect subscription amount;
  • After a cancellation that was properly completed before renewal; or
  • For a transaction that was not authorized by you,

contact us promptly.

Once we verify the billing error, we will correct the charge and, where appropriate, issue a refund.

If you believe your payment method has been used fraudulently, you should also contact your payment provider.

9. Service outages and significant Cormaa-side failures

Occasional maintenance, short interruptions or isolated technical failures do not normally qualify for monetary refunds.

If Cormaa experiences a significant or extended service failure that materially prevents you from using a paid subscription, we may provide an appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, this could include:

  • Additional subscription time;
  • Replacement usage credits;
  • Account credit;
  • A prorated refund; or
  • A full refund in exceptional circumstances.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the duration and severity of the problem and its impact on your ability to use Cormaa.

10. Subscription term (no annual plans)

Cormaa does not offer annual subscriptions.

All paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly (or otherwise stated periodic) basis.

Accordingly:

  • There is no annual billing cycle.
  • There is no annual renewal to cancel.
  • All references in this policy to subscription periods refer to the applicable recurring billing period shown at checkout.

11. Suspension or termination for violations

If Cormaa suspends or terminates your account because of fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, violation of our Acceptable Use provisions or another material violation of the Terms of Service, you will generally not be entitled to a refund.

This does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Taxes

Refunds relating solely to taxes, VAT, GST or similar charges will be handled according to applicable tax law and the requirements of our payment processor.

We may require appropriate documentation before adjusting or refunding taxes.

13. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe Cormaa charged you incorrectly, we encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

This gives us an opportunity to investigate the transaction and resolve legitimate billing problems directly.

Submitting a fraudulent or knowingly false chargeback may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising legitimate rights available through your bank, card issuer, payment provider or applicable law.

14. Refund processing

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method.

Once Cormaa issues a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer and payment provider.

We cannot control processing delays after a refund has been submitted to the payment network.

15. How to request a refund

To request a refund, contact Cormaa through the support option available in the Cormaa application or website.

Please include:

  • The email address associated with your Cormaa account;
  • The relevant payment or invoice;
  • The approximate date of the charge; and
  • A brief explanation of what happened.

Do not send full credit-card numbers, passwords or connected-application credentials in a refund request.

We may request additional information where necessary to locate the transaction, verify account ownership or investigate usage.

16. Refund decisions

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, refunds and account credits outside the circumstances expressly guaranteed in this policy are provided at Cormaa’s discretion.

We may consider factors including:

  • When the charge occurred;
  • Whether Cormaa was used after the charge;
  • How much usage was consumed;
  • Whether the problem resulted from Cormaa or a third-party application;
  • Whether credits or another remedy can reasonably resolve the problem;
  • Previous refunds associated with the account; and
  • Evidence of fraud, misuse or abuse.

Our goal is to handle legitimate billing problems fairly while preventing abuse of the refund process.

17. Rights under applicable law

This Refund Policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of your jurisdiction.

Where applicable law provides you with cancellation, withdrawal, refund or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived, those rights will apply regardless of anything stated in this policy.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy as our plans, billing systems and Services change.

If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required.

Refund requests will generally be evaluated under the policy applicable to the transaction in question, subject to applicable law.

19. Contact

Questions about billing, cancellations or refunds may be submitted through the contact form available at cormaa.com/contact.
